As 2020 comes to a close, take some time to get alone with Jesus and ask Him what He wants to speak over the coming year.
Last year, I’m so glad I did that, because the word He gave me for 2020 was “need” and “Let Me rescue you.” Little did we know just what we would face. He rescued us from danger after danger, and then supplied miraculously for every HUGE need.
If I hadn’t asked, I would not have been prepared. I might have jumped ahead to make decisions out of worry or fear, rather than waiting on His provision. And I would have missed the miracles…
As hard as 2020 has been, 2021 will see it’s own trials. But if you can seek the Lord for what HE wants to say and do in 2021, and then step out, following His lead and watching Him work things together for His good, then you will have a joyous, love-filled 2021, no matter what comes.
Don’t let circumstances dictate how you feel and respond. Only Jesus.
